In Week 6, we all presented our Super Scientist research or
experiments. It was so interesting learning about how different things
react to each other and how some things work. We saw several different
experiments such as, balloon rockets, erupting volcanoes, bubbling lava
lamps, gravity free water, bouncing balls, a cloud in a jar, floating
and sinking oranges, diet coke and mentos, a levitating orb and many
more. All of the students spoke really well and they enjoyed being Super
Scientists.
Room 19’s winners were Sophie and Lochlann.
In Week 8 Sophie and Lochlann presented their experiments and
research to all of the Year 3s. There were 8 finalists, but there could
be only one winner. That winner was Sophie!
Sophie will now be performing her bubbling lava lamp experiment on Thursday 23 June at the whole school assembly.
