WELCOME TO YEAR 3 ROOM 19

Room 19 has had a very busy start to the year. They have been organising their workbooks, scrapbooks and trays. The standards have been set very high by Miss Dagostino. The students have been working hard in their cooperative learning teams establishing team roles and responsibilities. It hasn’t taken long for these teams to be demonstrating great organisational skills.

STUDENT COUNCILLORS

Congratulations to our Student Councillors Holly Phillips and Sarah Samura. Both girls have demonstrated responsibility and excellent leadership skills. They will do a fantastic job of representing Room 19.

MINI-ME

If you get a chance to visit Room 19 come in and look at our mini-me’s. In pairs we had to measure parts of our bodies in cm and then halve these to create a half version of ourselves. They look amazing!

LITERACY PRO

On Friday we did our first Literacy Pro test. We now have our reading levels and we are ready to borrow books from the library so we can start quizzes. Our school goal is to read one hundred million words this year.
